DAY of Event Information
The 7th Annual Sonoma County Kids Gran Fondo will be taking place on Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Children from all over will have the chance to challenge themselves, choosing to ride a bike, walk, run, roller skate, skateboard, wheelchair etc. on one of 3 courses, including a 7 mile, 4 mile, or 1 mile route. Parents (strollers included) and dogs are also welcomed to accompany their kids! All dogs must remain on leash (City ordinance). All bike entrants are required to wear a helmet.
Pre-Ride Packet Pick-Up and Registration (Recommended):
Saturday, August 17th - 3pm to 5pm

Day of Event Packet Pick-up and Registration:
Sunday, August 18th, 8:00 am - 8:45 am
Note: Late registrants are not guaranteed an event t-shirt or lunch.
Those who choose not participate in the fundraising leading up to the event, you will have the option to make a donation towards the Kids Gran Fondo Heroes at packet pick-up.
Bikers Start: 9:00 am
Runner/Walkers Start: Immediately after participants on wheels
Kids Expo Fun: 10am - 12pm
Location & Route
Safety comes first! We design the routes to follow as many bike and walking paths as possible. We have course marshals standing at just about every turn on the routes. ALL participants on wheels are required to where a helmet. It is recommended that young children (under 12) be accompanied by an adult. Dogs on a leash are welcome at the event.
There are 3 routes to choose from this year all of which you can decide to walk, run, roll, bike or skip:
1 mile city chicken scenic lake route
4 mile speedster chicken route
7.5 mile endurance chicken route

We encourage participants to ride their bikes, walk, skip or roll to the event. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods and in the Community Center parking lot.
