Rivertown Revival Craft Crew!

Help the Rivertown Revival crew to craft some vintage DAZZLE! Every year we invite folks to come on down to the Barn at Steamer Landing on Sundays and build, craft, paint, tinker and socialize like Revivalists do so well. We need your help to continue our RR tradition of turning trash into garbage! Let's build the best darn old-timey River heritage celebration in the West! You'll receive a nutritious lunch, Revive Kombucha, and Lagunitas Beer to sweeten the deal. No need to sign up, see you there from 10am - 3pm.

Rivertown Revival

Rivertown Revival will take place on July 20, 2019 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. They have shifts available throughout the day that are 2 1/2 hours each.


10:30am - 1:00pm
12:45pm - 3:15pm
3:00pm - 5:45pm
5:30 - 8:00pm

Volunteers receive a complimentary Rivertown Revival T-shirt, free admission to the event, and you also get entry into their VIP (Volunteers are Important People) tent for food and refreshments throughout the day. Your participation in this event is a great way to give back to our wonderful Petaluma community and to support The Friends of the Petaluma River and their mission to conserve and celebrate the River and Watershed.

Girls on the Run - Iron Man Aid Station

Girls on the Run is hosting Aid Station #4 for the Iron Man race and they need volunteers!

Shift 1: 8:15 am - 11:30 am
Shift 2: 11:15 am - 2:45 pm

Through the Ironman Foundation, Girls on the Run Sonoma County receives a grant for hosting an aid station, which supports their continued mission of providing the program to EVERY girl who wants to participate regardless of financial need. The dollar amount received is based on how many volunteers they provide. Support the Ironman 70.3 athletes, while also supporting their program scholarship fund!

Food for Thought - Food Drive Ambassadors

Food For Thought’s Food Drive Program is integral to our ability to serve our 700+ clients living with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. We provide free weekly groceries supplements, nutrition classes and congregate meals three days a week.

Each month, on Saturdays, volunteers conduct food drives outside the doors of local markets. Food drive volunteers offer flyers to shoppers as they enter the door, asking them to buy extra items while they shop and then receive the donations in bins as the shoppers exit.

Food Drive Shifts - 10:00-12:30 / 12:30-3:00 / 3:00-5:30  

June 8th - Montecito Oliver’s or Stony Point Oliver’s in Santa Rosa, or Pacific Market in Sebastopol

June 15th - Petaluma Market or Sebastopol Safeway

June 22nd - Oliver’s in Cotati

June 29th - Community Market in Sebastopol

July 6th - Windsor Oliver’s, Santa Rosa 4th Street Safeway, Guerneville Safeway, and Sonoma Market in Sonoma

July 13th - Santa Rosa at Montecito Oliver’s or Stony Point Oliver’s, or in Sebastopol at Pacific Market
