Petaluma Education Foundation BASH!

PEF is looking for help for their BASH gala on Saturday, September 7th at the Petaluma Veteran's Building- A night of dinner, dancing, auctions, and inspiring updates about PEFs mission to support Petaluma students. They need raffle sellers to work the event from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a diamond necklace (raffle tickets are $50/each). The volunteers who help with this are welcome to stay and enjoy the party! If interested please contact: Maureen Highland at maureen@pefinfo.com.


Sunday, September 8th

Daily Acts Benefit Concert

Daily Acts is hosting a benefit concert at Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park from 1pm to 7pm! In addition to live music from several great local bands, there will also be informational presentations by local climate leaders and groups. Saturday, September 14th

Relay for Life

Relay for life is a 12-hour team walking event to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society- hosted this year at the Casa Grande High School track, the event starts at 10am and goes until 10pm on September 14th. They are also looking for helpers in the morning.

Just Between Friends - Fall Consignment Sale

The semi-annual sale is coming up again, and The Hundleys need our help! There are several shifts available throughout the week of the event, but especially on Thursday from 9am - 1pm, 1pm - 5pm and Sunday from 2pm - 6pm, 5pm - 9pm. Food for Thought - Food Drive Ambassadors

Food For Thought’s Food Drive Program is integral to our ability to serve our 700+ clients living with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. We provide free weekly groceries supplements, nutrition classes and congregate meals three days a week.

Each month, on Saturdays, volunteers conduct food drives outside the doors of local markets. Food drive volunteers offer flyers to shoppers as they enter the door, asking them to buy extra items while they shop and then receive the donations in bins as the shoppers exit.

Food Drive Shifts - 10:00-12:30 / 12:30-3:00 / 3:00-5:30  

Sept 7th - Windsor Oliver’s, Santa Rosa 4th Street Safeway, Guerneville Safeway

Sept 14th - Montecito Oliver’s, Stony Point Oliver’s, Pacific Market in Sebastopol

Sept 21st - Petaluma Market, Sebastopol Safeway
